Terms of use

Last updated: October 20, 2026

These terms apply to your use of stackprobe.io (the “website”), operated by IT Works Managed Services (“we”, “us”) in Alberta, Canada. By using the website, you agree to them. They don’t cover the StackProbe service itself; clients have a separate service agreement.

Information on this website

We work to keep the website accurate, but it’s general information, not professional, legal or security advice for your specific situation. Descriptions of features, plans and the partner program may change. Nothing on the website is an offer or a contract; prices and terms are set out in a written quote and agreement.

The free stack check

The stack check summary is generated automatically from your answers and is a general indication only. The fuller report we send is our honest opinion based on what you’ve told us. Neither is a guarantee about your systems, and neither creates a client relationship.

Resources articles

Articles are general guidance. Articles about law or regulation are not legal advice; for your situation, talk to a lawyer.

Your use of the website

Please don’t misuse the website: for example, by trying to break into it, overloading it, submitting false information on purpose, or using it to send spam.

Our content

The website’s text, design, logo and images belong to us or are used with permission. You’re welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back. Please don’t copy substantial parts without asking.

Microsoft, Google, Shopify, QuickBooks, Stripe, Jobber, Slack, GitHub, SuperOps, Claude and other names are trademarks of their owners. StackProbe connects to these services and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

We’re not responsible for the content of websites we link to.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
